The Nightingale Code™

Hi, I'm Jana.

You Don't Have to Lose Yourself to Be a Great Nurse.

I help nurses reclaim their inner truth and remember what their body never forgot.

I see you...

I've been there. And I want you to know...

Burnout isn't who you are.
It's what happens when you've been surviving for too long.

This Doesn't Have to Be Your Story

For years, I thought becoming exhausted was simply the price of caring.

I believed if I could just become more resilient, work harder, or manage my stress better, I'd eventually feel like myself again.

Instead, I slowly lost pieces of myself.

The joy.

The energy.

The creativity.

The presence.

The woman I was outside of nursing.

What I eventually discovered changed not only my career—but my life.

Burnout isn't just physical exhaustion. It's what happens when chronic stress disconnects you from your body, your intuition, and your sense of self. When we live in survival mode long enough, our nervous system stops feeling safe. We stop hearing our intuition, disconnect from our own needs, and become exceptional caregivers while quietly abandoning ourselves.

And that's exactly what The Nightingale Code™ was created to address.

Forever fascinated by the incredible intelligence of the human body.
Hey there, I'm Jana Twenty-five years in critical care taught me how to save lives. It took burnout to teach me how to save my own.

Here Is My Story

I didn't become a nurse because I was fascinated by disease. I became a nurse because I was fascinated by the incredible intelligence of the human body—and because I loved people.

Long before nursing school, I was captivated by physiology—how the body works, adapts, and heals. I earned my degree in Exercise Physiology before becoming a registered nurse because I wanted to understand the incredible design of the human body.

Nursing felt like exactly where I belonged. I wanted to be where people needed someone the most.

Over the next 25+ years, I cared for thousands of patients in critical care, recovery, GI, bronchoscopy, endoscopy, and private concierge nursing.

It was meaningful.

It was sacred.

And it was also incredibly hard.

Because somewhere along the way... I realized healthcare had taught me how to care for everyone... except myself.

My Journey

Exercise Physiology
I fell in love with understanding how the human body heals.
Registered Nurse
More than 25 years serving patients in hospitals and private care.
Burnout
Years of chronic stress, emotional exhaustion, and slowly losing myself beneath the role of "nurse."
Searching for Answers
I studied yoga, breathwork, nervous system regulation, nurse coaching, subconscious reprogramming, and energy medicine.
The Missing Piece
I discovered something I had never learned in nursing school. The body doesn't heal through protocols alone. It heals when it finally feels safe.
Today
I help nurses remember that healing themselves isn't selfish. It's the foundation of sustainable caregiving.

Why The Nightingale Code™

The Nightingale Code™ isn't about escaping nursing.

It's about coming home to yourself.

I don't believe nurses are broken. I believe they've adapted to an environment that quietly rewards self-abandonment.

We've been praised for pushing through.

Celebrated for sacrificing ourselves.

Conditioned to believe our needs come last.

Eventually, that becomes our identity.

The Nightingale Code™ helps you gently reverse that conditioning. Not by teaching you to become someone new. But by helping you remember the woman you were before survival became your personality.

More than 150 years ago, Florence Nightingale taught that healing begins by creating the conditions for nature to act. I believe that timeless wisdom extends beyond our patients—it includes us. Our bodies aren't broken. They simply need the safety, presence, and support to remember what they've always known: how to heal.

Because the body remembers.

Your nervous system remembers.

And deep down... so do you.

Healthcare is incredibly good at managing disease.

But lasting healing requires more than management.

The body truly heals through safety, regulation, connection, and presence.

My Mission

I believe healthcare changes when nurses heal.

Every regulated nervous system creates calmer patient care. Every nurse who trusts herself changes the culture around her. Every woman who remembers her worth gives others permission to do the same.

My mission isn't simply to help nurses recover from burnout. It's to help them recognize the quiet pattern of self-abandonment underneath it—and to reverse it, one nurse at a time.

That is The Nightingale Code™.
